If you're seeing duplicate receipts print for the same order, the most likely cause is that two overlapping print options are enabled at the same time in your Online Ordering printing preferences.
How to fix it
Step 1: Open printing preferences
On your Clover device, go to Setup > Online Ordering > Settings > Remote Firing Printer. This opens the Manage printing preferences for Online Ordering page.
You can also reach this page from the Printers app by selecting Manage printing preferences for Online Ordering.
Step 2: Uncheck one of the two overlapping options
You'll see two checkboxes:
- Select printer for labeled items — routes labeled items to their assigned station printer
- Choose an option for full order or unlabeled items — prints either a full-order expo receipt or a receipt for unlabeled items only
When Select printer for labeled items is enabled alongside Print an expo receipt with full order, labeled items print twice — once to their station printer and again on the expo receipt.
The fix: If you have labeled items enabled, switch from Print an expo receipt with full order to Print unlabeled items receipt. This way, labeled items route to their station printers and unlabeled items still get a receipt — nothing gets missed and nothing prints twice.
