The Order Kiosk does not require a persistent internet connection as long as the Offline Mode is enabled. This means that merchants can continue to operate their Kiosk when their devices are experiencing connectivity issues.
Merchants can follow these instructions to enable Offline Mode for their Order Kiosk account:
1. Navigate to the Settings page of the Order Kiosk web portal.
2. Toggle the checkbox to enable Offline Mode.
3. Save the changes.
4. Reboot your Kiosk to force it to sync with your recently updated settings.
Enabling Offline Mode will allow you to continue accepting orders and processing payments even if there is an outage with your business's internet connection or if Clover's servers are having downtime. This ensures that your business can operate smoothly and serve customers without interruptions.
