Each time the Order Kiosk app is launched on your Clover device, you will be prompted to select the categories and labels to display. Items must have both the categories and labels selected at launch in order to appear in Kiosk Mode.
Categories (required) are used to group items on your menu. For example, a restaurant might organize their menu into categories such as Sandwiches, Salads, Desserts, and Beverages.
Labels (optional) are used to control which items are available through the kiosk. For example, a restaurant may offer certain items exclusively at their full-service counter. By using multiple labels — such as Kiosk and Pre-Made — only items tagged with one of those labels would appear in Kiosk Mode, while untagged items would be excluded.
If no labels are selected at launch, all items belonging to the chosen categories will be visible in Kiosk Mode, regardless of their label assignments. For example, to display all items under the Drinks and Sandwiches categories, no label tagging is required.
