Customizing tip options can be done on your device and on the web.
To customize tip options, ensure tips are enabled in the Order Kiosk Settings on the Clover web dashboard and your Clover device in the Account& Setup.
Below are the instructions for customizing tip options through your Clover device or web dashboard.
Clover web dashboard:
Navigate to Account & Setup.
Next, select Tips under Business operations.
Ensure the checkbox for “ask for tips” is selected.
To customize tip options, Go to Tip Buttons and please follow the instructions under Customizing Tip Options.
Clover device:
On your Clover device, open the Setup app.
Next, Select Tips.
To ensure tips are enabled on your Clover device, Select “ask for tips” and enable tips.
To customize tip options, Tap Tip suggestions and please follow the instructions under Customizing Tip Options.
Customizing Tip Options:
When customizing Tip options, you can enter the percentages you want to use. You can enter up to four default tip options. Select the checkbox for each tip amount you want to be shown. If you want fewer than four tip options, just unselect the checkbox you don’t want to be shown. If you don’t select any tip options, the only tip option that will be shown is “other.” which is where your customers can enter a customizable tip.
