What the report shows
- Audit details: the audit ID, your Clover Merchant ID, and when the audit was created.
- Item details: the item's Clover ID, name, SKU, item code, price, and cost.
- Before Stock: the stock level Clover had on record before the audit.
- Adjustment: the difference between Before Stock and your new count.
- Adjusted Item Price and Adjusted Item Cost: the adjustment multiplied by the item's price and by its cost.
- Employee and status: the employee who performed the audit and the audit's status.
The last row totals the Adjusted Item Price and Adjusted Item Cost columns for the whole audit.
Find your new count
The report doesn't list the new count you entered. To find it, add Before Stock and Adjustment together.
Example: Clover shows 10 apples in stock, and you count 12. The report shows a Before Stock of 10 and an Adjustment of 2, so your new count is 10 + 2 = 12. If the apples sell for $1.00 and cost $0.50, the report shows an Adjusted Item Price of 2.00 and an Adjusted Item Cost of 1.00.
If you count fewer items than Clover has on record, the adjustment is a negative number.
