Welcome to the Customer Upload application! This article will walk you through how to upload your customers to the Clover Customers app using the Abreeze Customer Upload app.
First, please install the Customer Upload app through the Clover App Market on your computer. Customer Upload only functions from your Clover web dashboard, not from your device.
Downloading the Customer Upload app requires a one-time fee of $9.99 per merchant account. Once you have installed the application, you are ready to upload your customers. There are two ways to upload customers: (A) Let Abreeze take care of it for you for an additional $19.98, or (B) Upload the customers yourself using the self-service instructions below.
A. Full-service Upload - Abreeze completes the upload for you
For an additional $19.98, Abreeze will upload all of your customers for you. Please follow the instructions in this article if you would like to utilize this service.
B. Self-service Upload - Complete the upload on your own
To upload your customers, please follow the steps below...
**Please note that the self-service upload is limited to 1500 customers per file, if you have more than 1,500 customers in your file, you will need to break your file into multiple files and upload each file separately.**
- Save your customer file(s) in the appropriate format as a CSV file. Follow the instructions here for formatting your file.
- Click Upload CSV on the Customer Upload homepage.
- Navigate to the CSV file formatted in step 1 and select it for upload.
- Using these instructions, identify the type of information in each column of your file. This step is key as it will organize your customer data for you.
- Click Upload to start processing the file.
- Is your upload resulting in errors? If so, follow these instructions to correct the errors and continue with your upload.
