You may manage your data points through the web app from the Clover web dashboard. Please log into your Clover web dashboard at www.clover.com. Once logged into your account, click on the Daily Email Report app from the listing of apps on the left side of the screen.
In the Daily Email Report dashboard, scroll down to the location you wish to update. Under the location, check the boxes next to the data you would like to under Report Contents. Once you have made your selections, click the Save Settings button to save your preferences.
The data points you can include are as follows:
- Categories - Groupings of items based on their type or classification. They are used to organize sales data, allowing you to see the total revenue generated by each category.
- Labels - Classification tags within Clover for reporting purposes.
- Discounts - Discounts are reductions applied to the total value of a sale or specific items within a sale.
- Modifier Groups - Additional options or customization that can be added to an item, such as toppings or extra features. In the context of the Daily Email Report, you can choose to include these modifier values in the item sales total by checking the "Include Modifier value in Items" box in the report settings. Alternatively, you can list them separately in a distinct section by checking the "Modifier Groups" box. This ensures that the value of any modifiers is accurately reflected in the sales report.
- Include Modifier value in Items - Modifier value refers to the additional price or value added to an item when a modifier (like an extra topping) is selected. For accurate sales reporting, you can include modifier values in item totals or report them separately by adjusting your Daily Email Report settings accordingly.
- Employees - This setting allows for sales by employee to be showcased on the report.
- Top 20 Items - This will narrow reporting to your top 20 items sold, rather than including all items.
- All Items - This ensures all items sold are included on the report.
- Include CSV format - This enables your report to be provided to you in a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format in addition to the PDF.
