How can I allow my customers to "opt-in" to marketing?

You have 2 options for opting a customer in to marketing via the Sign Up app.

How to collect opt-in at checkout:

1. In the register app, before payment, select the Customer Sign Up button
2. Have the customer enter their info and opt in by checking “I would like to receive promotions!”, or enter it on their behalf
3. Proceed to payment

You can also add customers directly through the Sign Up app.

Note: Opt-in is what triggers the sync. No opt-in, no sync.
