Getting Started with Inventory Audit

Inventory Audit lets you count and update your Clover inventory from your Clover device, phone, or tablet. Setup takes just a few minutes.

Install the app

1. From a web browser, open the Clover Web Dashboard and install Inventory Audit.
2. Launch the app. Once installed, it's available on all of your Clover devices.
3. Optional: You can also run audits from an Apple or Android phone or tablet. Download Inventory Audit from the App Store or Google Play.

Note: Inventory Audit must be installed on your Clover account before you can use it on a phone or tablet.

Perform an audit

On a Clover device

1. Open Inventory Audit.
2. Tap the pink arrow button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The audit menu opens.
3. Find the item you want to audit and update its count. Repeat for each item you're counting.
4. Tap Save Changes.

On a phone or tablet

1. On the Search page of the app, find your item and select it. You can scroll through the list or type the item name in the search bar.
2. On the item's edit page, enter the new amount using the keypad, or use the left arrow to decrease and the right arrow to increase the count. Repeat for each item you're counting.
3. Tap Save Changes.

Submit the audit

1. Tap the Audit tab at the bottom of the screen. The Audit List shows every item you've updated.
2. Review the items to confirm your counts are correct.
3. Tap Submit.

Note: Saved changes are not sent to Clover until you submit the audit. Skipping this step means your inventory will not update.

You can review past audits in the web app at any time.
